Statistics – Bachelor minor subject

Symbolbild

Elective minor in an undergraduate study programme (bachelor). A minor subject may only be chosen in combination with a major subject.

Statistics is essential for numerous fields of science. For example, it is an important feature for: medical science, biology and other natural sciences, economics and engineering sciences, psychology and sociology. Statistics is at the basis of planning, executing and evaluating comprehensive studies and experiments. Measuring data and other collected data are used to establish correlations and verify hypotheses. If you study Statistics as a minor, it will supply you with additional qualifications, but not decisively determine the field of your future career.
