The study orientation self-assessment test available online at www.was-studiere-ich.de helps future students identify their own interests and abilities while giving recommendations for possible fields of study and careers. It is the most common form of documentation for completing the study orientation programme required by law in Baden-Wuerttemberg.
Since 2009, a project team at the Universities of Konstanz and Hohenheim cooperates with Baden-Wuerttemberg’s universities to continue to develop the state-wide orientation test for the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts (MWK). Each year, about 800,000 individuals use the test.
The University of Konstanz project team is responsible for continuing to develop the test in a user-friendly way and for keeping the information current by contacting representatives of undergraduate study programmes at every university in Baden-Wuerttemberg as well as for updating the career profiles included in the test’s database.
