Konstanz Online Study information (KOS)
Well informed. Successfully studied. Especially for prospective students, the KOS project produces digital media offerings for study information at the University of Konstanz.
Choosing the right course of study is one of the most important decisions for the future. In order to provide prospective students with the best possible support in making their choice, the Team KOS (Konstanz Online Study information) of the Central Student Advisory Service produces target-group-oriented, contemporary and digital media offers for study information.

High-quality and specifically tailored offers of study information are a decisive factor in winning over prospective students, but above all in ensuring positive study courses and successful graduation.
Thus, the services offered by the KOS team support sustainable study success and make an important contribution to the future-oriented, digital orientation of the University of Konstanz in the field of study and teaching.

How does KOS work?
Service providers of the departments
We focus on the specific needs of the specialist departments - we take over the development for areas in which the specialist departments would like to be relieved and adapt formats specifically to their wishes and demands.
Digital trends and internationality
Our digital formats are based on the current trends in e-learning and digital teaching relevant to the target group of 17 to 20-year-olds. Prospective students in Germany and abroad can use the services of KOS worldwide to quickly and qualitatively discover the diversity of the Konstanz courses of study and check their interest and suitability for their desired subject.
In-house interface
KOS sees itself as an interface to use existing resources efficiently and to bundle expertise effectively. We work closely together with various departments in the conception and production of the KOS – from the staff unit Communications and Marketing, the Communication, Information, Media Centre (KIM), the staff units Quality Management and Controlling, to the Scientific Engineering Services or the University Alumni Association (VEUK) and the Career Service of the University of Konstanz.
