Decision Sciences

Our research in the decision sciences is dedicated to the decision-making behaviour of individuals and groups. Research in this field connects fundamental decision-making processes and their effects on society.

The decision sciences thereby pool scholarly expertise from politics and public administration, psychology and economics. The fields of computer and information science, sociology, mathematics and statistics as well as philosophy and law complement these research approaches. The Research Unit Psychoeconomics and the Graduate School of Decision Sciences form the programmatic interface for this research.
