As a University of Konstanz student, you have access to a broad spectrum of exchange opportunities in Asia. We have partnerships with universities in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Thailand and Israel. You can select a partner university that corresponds to your field of study and specialisation. Courses are taught entirely in English in Singapore and Hong Kong; the remaining universities usually provide ample courses taught in English.
Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility programme scholarships are available for Israel.

Further opportunities for stays in Asia
International Internship Pilot Programme (IIPP): BA, MA sowie PhD students can apply for internships at prestigious taiwanese universities, research institutes, laboratories (amongst others the Academia Sinica, NTU, NCCU, NCHU). Participants will receive a subsidy of NT$ 30.000 per month, for 3 months at most.
Taiwan Summer Institute Programme: the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) awards short-term scholarships (two months) for graduate (MA) as well as doctoral students for research internships at universities and research institutes.
- Language and Internship Programme in China: 16-months long language and internship programme by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) for graduates in the Sciences, Law, Political Science and Economics.
- China Scholarship Programme by the Studienstiftung: highly qualified students from all disciplines will be supported during their one year language and study/research stay at a Chinese university.
- The Robert Bosch Stiftung's Lectureship Programme supports scholarship holders, who teach German as a foreign language at universities and carry out education projects.
