Learn from your participants
You can use an evaluation form to receive feedback from participants and speakers at your event. The evaluation will give you constructive feedback for organising future events.
In addition, you can find out more about your target audience (occupation, geographic spread, age etc.), how participants heard about the event and the quality of the presentations. Often, it pays to pay particular attention to individual groups such as sponsors or speakers, whom you could ask to provide extra feedback.
You can use the university’s “EvaSys” software, which we use for course evaluations, to process the feedback you receive. “EvaSys” can read questionnaires without you having to enter all the data manually. The software can be used for paper evaluations, online or both, and it can process evaluation forms in multiple languages. We provide this service free of charge for student events, others will have to pay a small fee.
