Cooperation partners

The University of Konstanz Alumni Association is connected with a broad range of internal partners and institutions.

Career Service

Many of our alumni value the top-level education they received at the University of Konstanz and are looking to recruit qualified graduates.

The Career Service supports your search for new employees and keeps you informed about current developments within our study programmes and the resulting qualifications earned by Konstanz graduates.

By the same token, students can benefit from the alumni network and the wide-ranging support offered by the Career Service. They provide advice on career planning and information on what to expect upon entering a profession in addition to teaching relevant professional skills.

Mentoring programme

Female students and doctoral researchers who are about to finish their degrees and are preparing for a career in industry, politics or the cultural sector will benefit immensely from the mentoring programme offered jointly by the University of Konstanz and the Hochschule Konstanz University of Applied Sciences (HTWG).

The programme is built on three pillars:

  • Training sessions and workshops focusing on your career plans and individual life situation
  • One-on-one mentoring with experienced professionals from various fields who will be happy to pass their knowledge and know-how on to you
  • Networking events to promote exchange with other women in similar situations and to foster networks between mentors and mentees

You can apply if you are a female bachelor’s or master’s student, a recent graduate (up to one year after graduation) or a doctoral researcher from any of the university’s departments. Professionally experienced mentors will guide “their” mentees for a period of one year, providing advice on anything and everything to do with career development.

Campus festival

The campus festival, which was established in 2015, is a music festival organised entirely by our students. It has since taken place once every year in June in the university’s northern car park. Bands and musicians from all German-speaking countries, as well as artists from the Lake Constance region, perform for up to 5,000 fans. The campus festival was established thanks to a student body initiative.

VEUK has sponsored the festival since its inception, thereby seeking to promote student-led cultural activities in Konstanz.

Come and find us at our festival stall - you cannot miss the banners.

We also cooperate with the festival organisers on other occasions, such as coming home events or our central graduation party.
