We are happy to announce that the Carl Smith Student Award is being continued in 2008. An excellent student paper will be selected to receive the Carl Smith Award. The award carries a scholarship prize of EUR 555.

Please specify if your submission is eligible for the Carl Smith Student Award and which _student_ author made the main contribution to this paper. The student author is strongly encouraged to present the paper at the conference if it is accepted.
