Chemoinformatics is of increasing importance for the drug discovery process, materials and nanotech R&D as well as management and workflow of data and knowledge in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry. Recent years have seen the emergence of a growing number of powerful open source chemoinformatics packages, with major players released under a license permitting commercialization without further legal caveats. A couple of these projects have joined forces to increase interoperability, stability and usability. This lecture presents anoverview of OS chemoinformatics software packages developed by us and collaborators.
