From Data Space to Visual Space: Visual Analysis of Subspace Clusters
A major theme of my research is to develop effective data analysis and visualization techniques for extracting and highlighting patterns and relations in large complex data. There are three main strands to my research: visual analytics on high-dimensional data, time series data modeling and visualization, and visualizing complex set relations in data. My research also includes analyze challenges brought by the big data era, comparing state-of-the-art visual analytics solutions, and developing interactive visualization techniques to help people extract useful information from large complex data.
