Rafael Grompone Ph.D.

Rafael Grompone was born in Montevideo, Uruguay, where he
studied electrical engineering. Then he obtained a master's degree and a Ph.D. in applied mathematics at Ecole Normale Superieure de Cachan, France, supervised by Jean-Michel Morel and Gregory Randall. He is currently a post-doc at CMLA, ENS Cachan. He has been working in the field of computer vision, in particular on geometric structures detection, lens distortion correction, perceptual grouping, and theoretical models of perception. |
