The way to us

By Air

The closest international airports are located in
Zürich (Switzerland) distance about 80 km and
Stuttgart (Germany) distance about 180 km
From both airports, you can easily get to Konstanz by train (SEE BELOW the train website). From Stuttgart take the train to "Konstanz Hauptbahnhof".
If you come from Zurich take the train to "Weinfelden". There change the train (on the same gate) to "Engen". Half way you will arrive at Konstanz's "Schweizer Bahnhof".

Additional there is the domestic airport of Friedrichshafen (Germany) distance about 40 km , across the Lake of Constance. At Friedrichshafen airport, take the train to the mainstation of Friedrichshafen.
There you can coose whether to take the train over "Radolfzell" to "Konstanz" or the bus to Meersburg and from there to come by ferry to Konstanz.

By Car

From Stuttgart, follow the autobahn A81 south to Singen. At the Singen intersection, switch to the autobahn to Konstanz. This one finally merges into the B31 highway, at the end of which there is a crossing with traffic lights. At this point, go straight and subsequently, follow the "Universität" signs.

From Zurich (Switzerland), take the Autobahn N1 to Kreuzlingen-Konstanz. After crossing the Swiss-German border between Kreuzlingen and Konstanz, follow the signs to Singen. At the end of the bridge of the River Rhine, go straight and follow the sign to the "Universität".

How to reach the building "M" at the University:

Please park your car on "Parkplatz Nord" than walk through a little wood and continue until you see building M on your right. Take the elevator to floor 10. Office of Dr. Knippers in Room M 1003.

By Train

 In Konstanz the bus stop is right in front of the train station.
The bus lines 9A or 9B in the City run every 15 minutes directly to the University (last bus station!).
